6 International Design Awards in the first year of launch
Rollr is an experience-led, sustainable deodorant designed to transform an everyday product into a daily sensory ritual.
My role
Collaborated on the sensory strategy, applying neuroaesthetic principles to guide scent design and tactile aesthetics. Advised on how fragrance selection, materiality, and physical interaction could reduce cognitive load, support emotional attachment, and increase pleasure in everyday use.
Strategy and Input
Shaped fragrance character using neuroscience of olfaction, emotion, and memory, shaping design of the mandarin and vetiver scent profiles
Guided tactile decisions around curvature, ridging, and material finish to enhance grip, comfort, and perceived quality
Aligned sensory cues across scent, touch, and form to create a seamless, intuitive user experience
Impact
Helped position Rollr as the first experience-led deodorant, elevating it beyond a functional, everyday product.
“Saskia’s work on scent and sensory detail was essential in making something new feel intuitive, pleasurable and a daily ritual.”
